DeWaun Lockhart graduated from Marquette University in 2016 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Theology. He then went on to graduate from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2009 (formerly UC Hastings). While in law school DeWaun spent countless hours volunteering and helping in the community of Bayview Hunters Point. After law school DeWaun spent time as a high school teacher and coach, before finding his passion as a Social Security disability advocate. He also spent a short period of time as an Administrative Law Judge for Unemployment Benefits.
DeWaun has walked a mile in our client’s shoes. He understands what you are going through. Before becoming a social security disability advocate, he was the frustrated, (angry) family member fighting social security and their complicated rules and regulations to secure the benefit for a loved one that they desperately needed. DeWaun won that case, and he will do everything that is possible to win yours.
DeWaun is a husband and father of two amazing little men (really little). He has spent his entire adult life volunteering, coaching and finding little and big ways to improve people’s lives. He hopes that he can be the guide for you on the long and confusing journey to secure the benefits from social security that you deserve.
DeWaun hates the saying, “it’s not personal, it’s just business.”
“It is Personal. Every case, every client that I serve, deserves the personal care and skill I deliver.” – DeWaun Lockhart
