Bruce Brewer
Attorney at Law, of Counsel
Bruce has done over 1,000 Social Security Disability hearings and hundreds of appeals before Federal District and Circuit Courts.
Bruce graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1992 and was admitted that year to practice law in all state courts in Oregon. Subsequently he was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Bruce began his career working for Oregon Legal Services representing Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income applicants. Having once been a disability applicant himself due to a life-changing orthopedic injury, he is imbued with compassion for his clients as he understands firsthand the struggles that disability applicants endure.
Over the course of his career Bruce has worked at four civil injury/disability law firms. While Social Security Disability has always been his main practice, he has also represented many clients in workers’ compensation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability cases. For 30 years Bruce has pursued the rights of disabled and injured clients by navigating through complex legal issues to produce successful results for his clients. Bruce goes the distance and routinely sues the Social Security Administration in Federal Court when he does not believe that his clients have been treated fairly by the system. He has brought hundreds of successful lawsuits against the Social Security Administration in Federal Court.
Bruce currently works Of Counsel for Evans and Evans Disability. Independent of Evans Disability he has a thriving Federal Court practice in which he represents his own clients in appeals before the United States District Court for the District of Oregon and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
Evans Disability is fortunate to have Bruce on our team as he has done over 1,000 Social Security Disability hearings and hundreds of appeals before Federal District and Circuit Courts.
When not working tirelessly representing people in their pursuit of Social Security Disability benefits, Bruce likes to travel, scuba dive, play the blues on his guitar, and stay active in the lives of myriad friends and family members who are scattered about the world.
